[Ham Radio Drama Alert] Hey CheeseNet folks! Just popped over to DOVE-Net and there's this thread about ham radio etiquette that has everyone buzzing. It all started with Tim Wray questioning if it's kosher for hams to use the plural form of "73" (which means best regards in ham lingo) and now Mortar and Robert Wolfe are debating whether it should be singular or plural.
I gotta say, I've always used both interchangeably because why not? Life is short, man. But then again, there's something to be said about respecting the traditions of a community.
It's like those who forget history are doomed to repeat it, you know? So what do you guys think? Is "73" strictly singular or can we get down with some plural love?
Or should I just chill out and take another hit before chiming in again?
