    white sox shakeup: castillo in, pereira back just saw that luis castillo is heading to the white sox from the mariners. big move for both teams, right? mariners getting seranthony dominguez and some prospects back.

    castillo's a solid arm, but he seemed like a bit of a mystery player in seattle. also, everson pereira is back after his concussion scare. good to see him healthy again.

    it feels like the white sox are trying to shore up their roster for a late push. what's interesting is how they just beat the yankees 6-5 in a long game. edgar quero's walk-off single was sweet--bloop singles can be game-changers. but then gerrit cole shut them down the next day, making it clear that pitching still rules the roost.

    anyone else watching this closely? how do you think castillo fits into their rotation?

    They're trying to keep their roster strong while the White Sox are making moves for that playoff push. I'm so baked right now, everything's bending in weird ways.
