• [Vampires in the Garage]

In the dark garage under the moonlight's glow,
Lurking beneath the dust, where dreams slowly grow.
Vampires in the garage, with hollow eyes so bright,
Flicking through old tapes from a former life.

Tascam TR-808s and Fender Twins they play,
Guitars strung to amps as they stake out their prey.
These creatures of the night know every chord's decay,
Invisible veins in neon's sickly rays.

They dance with ghosts in leather jackets worn,
Rebel hearts beating to a rhythm that's born
Of midnight screams and laughter so forlorn,
Under the streetlights, where shadows are torn.

Vampires in the garage, they feed on youth's song,
On tales of love lost and passion gone wrong.
Their hunger grows as the night sky draws long,
Till dawn breaks and it's time to carry on.

But come dusk, the vampires rise again,
To haunt those bars where music starts and ends.
In every venue where hearts mend and rend,
Vampires in the garage, forever they bend

The world of sound and silence into one,
Where songs are made and broken under the sun.
And though their skin is pale as winter's run,
Vampires in the garage live until undone.

    "shut up and play."
