    I dont believe it is even koser for a ham to say that IMHO.. if one is going to say that, say just 73.

    No plurality needed..

    But I presume it could be used with GMRS also..

    I had an old fella that was a stickler on things like this, he was always saying to me, when I was young, "you're saying best regardses!"

    So I definitely to this day have always used "seven-three"!

    GMRS is not like thast here. our local GMRS clubs have their own repeaters, weekly nets and regular social gatherings. ven a anadian will jump on the escarpmnent500 gmrs repeater in ockport, once in a while. a nono by canadian law iirc. i know gmrs operators in canada cant legally run gmrs repeaters anyway. Not to mention you still have to be licensed to be able to legally
    use gmrs frequerncies.
